ABOUT US

The Pollinator Initiative is an organization aimed at incentivizing San Diego residents to help pollinators by planting wildflowers.

We package and distribute a seed mix of 21 pollinator friendly wildflowers – perfectly suited to the California climate, easy to grow, colorful and helpful to a variety of pollinators.

Our Seed Mix

The wildflower seed mix contains the following species:

California Poppy Orange, White Yarrow, Shasta Daisy, Lance Leaf Coreopsis, Perennial Flax, Sweet Alyssum, Black Eyed Susan, Cornflower Tall Mix, Godetia Dwarf Mix, Clarkia Mix, Plains Coreopsis, Chinese Forget Me Not, Larkspur Giant Imperial Mix, Snapdragon, Scarlet Flax, Arroyo Lupine, Baby Blue Eyes, Evening Primrose, Shirley Single Mix, Corn Poppy, California Bluebells, Catchfly, Siberian Wallflower.

25% are perennials and 75% are annuals.

The full grown flowers attract a variety of pollinators including butterflies, bees, beetles, flies, moths and more.
